T is for Time.
Some things take time.
Some things simply cannot be achieved without the passage of hours, days, months and maybe years.
In a time where we can demand instant responses, and quick fixes, time feels impossible, unachievable, just not an option right now. But trust me, the more time that passes, the longer you put off that change, the more time you spend on the wrong path…… the longer you’ll stay there.
Anyone. Any health condition. Any age.
I was lucky enough to be one of the one hundred voices for The Scars of Gold campaign by Mortal & Strong. Here are the words I chose to appear alongside my image in the coffee table book.
I Retreated
The fact that I am writing this post in November is evidence enough that I do need to practice what I preach a little more……. This post is about the wonderful yoga retreat that I went on in September of this year, the overall point is to remind you how important it is to take time for yourself, to inform you that I remembered the importance of downtime, time to do what lights you up, spending time with no awareness of time, floating, creating, just being.
C is for Counselling
Counsellors are like hairdressers, it takes a bit of time and some potential disasters before you find ‘the one’.
N is for Nervous System
I had no knowledge, and probably very little regard for my nervous system. I am not even sure that I was consciously aware that I had one to take care of.
