T is for Time.

Some things take time.

Some things simply cannot be achieved without the passage of hours, days, months and maybe years.

In a time where we can demand instant responses, and quick fixes, time feels impossible, unachievable, just not an option right now. But trust me, the more time that passes, the longer you put off that change, the more time you spend on the wrong path, well - the longer you’ll stay there.

In the wrong place.

Amongst the others, wondering if there should be more to it, than this, should you not feel more than this, are you just not normal. The ‘what is wrong with me’ type territory.

Change takes time.

As it should.

Some things should be a project, worthy of research, planning, slow methodical steps forward, one step at a time, occasionally retracing past steps, or pausing, staying still, cruising a little, letting it all sink in, ruminate.

A lifetime's work, a passion, something that feels familiar, achievable, small changes, subtle moves, analysis of habits, understanding, knowledge, power, kindness.

The intentional shift that starts slowly, gathering pace, habit forming.

Little by little, some stick, they replace the old ways, the negative. Slowly, they empower, they bring an ease.

A confidence, an inner voice reminding you that you too are worthy.

Worthy of the time, the effort, the care, the gently pushing back against external demands.

The more focused path.

The path that guides you home.
